St. Lucia Bill Fishing Tournament

The Marina at Marigot Bay on St. Lucia's scenic west coast has been chosen as the new venue for the St. Lucia Game Fishing Association's annual bill fishing tournament. The 17th International Bill Fishing Tournament is being hosted by the SLGFA in conjunction with the Marina and Discovery at Marigot Bay, the island's newest five star resort, spa and marina village.
Traditionally the tournament has been held at the Rodney Bay Marina in the north of the island, however this year organisers decided to move the event to take advantage of Marigot Bay's central location and all of the new luxury facilities the bay has to offer both land and sea-based visitors.
Over 100 anglers from throughout the Caribbean and from the US are expected to take part in the event which will feature activities on and off the water at Discovery and neighbouring JJ's Paradise, Chateau Mygo and Doolittles. Discovery at Marigot Bay has also extended special accommodation packages for competitors, their families and friends.
