In the Flamboyant Room, the cuisine is of the highest standard. Under the expert and innovative guide of our recognized French and local chefs, the hotel has won several accolades and medals in local and regional culinary competitions and is a member of the Chaine des Rotisseurs.

For a more intimate dining experience, enjoy private dining surrounded by tropical plant life in our Palm Beach Gazebos - incredibly romantic for couples and a great social gathering place for lunch and dinner during the evening bar-b-ques.

At East Winds, we pride ourselves on using only the best fresh ingredients in our cuisine. Fish and lobster are brought fresh to the beach by local fishermen in their pirogues, whilst herbs are gathered from our own garden, with vegetables and fruits delivered from selected local farmers.

The Flamboyant Room and Bamboo Lounge set the stage for nights full of relaxation and revelry. Listen to the soothing sounds of strolling calypso minstrels, live piano and soft jazz as the notes float in on the light ocean breeze.

The East Winds Inn features the enchanting sound of the Caribbean's first  Steinway concert piano. This world-renowned instrument was flown in from New York and promises to make the magical nights at the resort even more special.

Slip deeper into the Caribbean culture of St. Lucia by taking in the traditional melodies of a small folk group and the weekly steel band concert on the beach.

Activities

Lounge on the warm, golden sand beach, and watch as the gentle waves roll in and out, washing your worries away. Our luxurious, thatch roofed Sun Beach Huts ensure both privacy and protection.

Cool off in our lovely free-form pool. Thanks to the state-of-the-art computerized cleaning equipment and the vigilance of our maintenance department, this sparkling pool is one of the best kept fresh water basins on the island. With its swim-up bar and soothing fresh-water, our pool is the ideal oasis.

Enjoy afternoon tea poolside in the elegant Jasmine Room, or take time away from a favourite novel to enjoy a guided nature walk around the resort. Escape amidst the many indigenous plants, flowers, trees and birds which form the beautiful gardens.

Out on the water, a small reef is home to a variety of local fish. Witness the colours and movements of these exotic species while snorkeling with friends or diving under the supervision of the Eastern Caribbean Divers' School. If you want to stay dry, one of the hotel canoes or kayaks, gives you the chance to tour the serene waters of the bay.
